Gli AustraliA nascono nell’estate 2012 nella provincia di Pisa.
Trasferitisi in Romagna, Olga (drums, synth bass) e Mr. Xicano (guitar, vox), hanno registrato e prodotto il loro primo disco “Robot” con un 4-piste a cassetta TASCAM del 1984 nella cucina del bilocale in cui vivono in affitto insieme al loro cane.
Mr. Xicano ha un passato da batterista di oscure formazioni hardcore e suona basso e tastiere con Lu Silver (ex Small Jackets).
Olga, prima di registrare con gli AustraliA, non aveva mai suonato in nessuna band, perché nessuna band è fica quanto gli AustraliA!
Gli AustraliA sono fermamente determinati nel mantenere un approccio androide al loro punk-rock ultra ortodosso.

AustraliA are from Pisa, Tuscany. They started as a band in late 2013.
Olga is the synth bass/drum machine player and Mr. Xicano plays the guitar and sings. They recorded their debut album “Robot” by their own using an old fashioned 4-track recorder (TASCAM PORTASTUDIO made in 1984) in the kitchen of their smaaaal flat where they live with a little white dog.
Mr. Xicano was the drummer of a bunch of obscure Italian bands and now he plays the bass and Fender Rhodes with Lu Silver (formerly the singer of the famous Italian hard rock band Small Jackets).
Olga has never played in a band before because no band was as cool as AustraliA!
AustraliA is an android punk band with an ultra-orthodox attitude.
